The Team

Dr. William L. Turner IV is a native to Raleigh, NC. He attended Broughton High School before moving to Virginia where he graduated with a B.S. in biology from Hampden-Sydney College. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Turner then returned to Raleigh to obtain his Masters degree in physiology from NC State University.

Dr. Turner grew up a huge Boston Celtics fan and feels blessed to have lived in such a vibrant sports city where he graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  Whenever asked why he chose dentistry, Dr. Turner loves to tell people that dentistry is the perfect combination of science, art, and relationships. His passion for the artistry of dentistry led him to found the Tufts Dental Aesthetics Society, a student organization that provides workshops and guest speakers to learn more about cosmetic procedures and smile design. Dr. Turner always prefers to take extra time to get to know his patients while educating them on preventative measures and making sure they have a thorough understanding of their comprehensive treatment plan.  Dr. Turner is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology in which he is SMART certified, the Academy of General Dentists, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

When he isn’t in the office or attending continuing education courses, Dr. Turner spends his free time with his wife, Ashley and two stepdaughters, working out, and cheering on the NC State Wolfpack.
